Daniel Gilbert

Microsoft Certified Trainer & Systems Engineer
Senior Enterprise Consultant, Guru and Friend

Daniel has been a computer aficionado since early childhood. From 1991 to 1994 he served in the U.S. Army as a combat medic (95Bravo). Upon serving out his enlistment he stumbled into the computer industry with a small memory reseller. Since then he has worked for Dell, Motorola, and IBM in various capacities.
He has experience designing, building, and maintaining networked enterprises ranging from 10 computers to 30,000+ computers. The more complex it is, the happier he is doing it.

Daniel's role at GGI Technologies is that of enterprise environment planning and sanity checker for many projects. He assists with the design of the network and/or domain and then makes sure that everything the Client requested is implemented if feasible. If not feasible, he diagrams why it is not viable either technically or financially.
Daniel is also involved in the implementation of the environment that he designs. His role on a daily basis is mostly that of an Oracle of Knowledge from which the other engineers can rely on for qualified information. He assures us that he is really good at sharpening pencils and stapling things, but we all know that this is not the case.

At Home:
For Daniel computers are not just a hobby, they are a way of life. In his free time at home he likes to research new computer products, tricks, and ideas. Currently he is also training to play beach volleyball professional on the AVP Tour.
He also seems to spend a decent amount of time reading books for pleasure and studying for new certifications.
